On Second Thought...

(Pre-script: This post is best read while listening to the song "Pocketful of Sunshine" by Natasha Beddingfield. Go down to the playlist and turn it on...Then come back and commence reading...I'll wait...)

Align Center (...Waiting...)

I've been thinking about what I said in yesterday's post about my spirit touring ancient ruins when I die. (If you have no idea what I'm referring to, you'd better go and read yesterday's post. Oh, and yesterday's post also has a pre-scripted recommended song, so that might trip you up a bit, but it's okay...I bet you never knew that getting the most out of a blog could take so much work on your part, did you? ) I've been thinking about that idea, and over the past 24 hours, I have come to the conclusion that once I am dead, if I am not immediately in Heaven, I will freak out. I'll just be thinking "WHY am I still HERE?" Any ancient ruins will mean nothing to me at that point. So to that, I say along with Natasha, "Take me away, to better days. Take me away..."

"There's a place that I go

where the rivers flow- (Rev. 22:1-2)

and I call it home- (2 Cor.5, John 14:1-4)

and there's no more lies - (1 John 5:20, Rev. 21:5, 19:9, 22:6)

and the darkness is light -(Rev. 22:5)

and nobody cries -(Rev.21:4)
there's only butterflies..." -(Not biblical, but certainly possible.)

-XOXO,

P.S. To those who would accuse me of over spiritualising a simple song, I say: There's no such thing as over spiritualising.

P.P.S. Okay, okay, you twisted my arm, here's cool thing about planet Earth # 2061:

The plethora of sea glass just waiting to be found!

This is what I found today. Please note the two tiny red pieces on the top left. (Red is extremely rare and hard to find!)

You know, Chas and Anthony ask me all the time different questions about heaven. "Will we eat pizza in heaven?" "Will we have to eat all of our pizza first to get dessert?" I tell them for now that we will never be hungry, but if we are, I'm sure God can have whatever we want for us. They are too little to understand that we will be worshiping and praising overwhelmed by God's glory. Since they won't get that concept, I'd like them to believe for now that heaven is whatever they want it to be. It's an awesome place that will fill their hearts, bodies and souls. They shouldn't grieve anyone going there... it's much better than here! :) So, if you want to tour an ancient grave site or city on your way, why not?! I think you'll have ALL of that knowledge immediately and will not wonder about anything. :) Great to see you today! Hugs!
