...over and over again! She likes to pick an outfit out of her drawer, then bring it to me...she tries to take off the clothes she is currently wearing, but of course she needs help, all the while telling me that she "want it off me, mommy. Want it off me." So I oblige. Why, you ask? Because I know how it feels to be rockin' the perfect outfit, but-Surprise!- have it's rockin' status downgraded 5 minutes later. Once Natalie's now offensive clothing are off, she dismisses them as "too small." Then I help her put on the new outfit.
I wanted to document this new hobby of Natalie's, so I took her picture every time she changed her outfit today. She picked all of these clothes out herself, mind you. There are definitely some go-to outfits that she chooses over and over again...but don't I do the same thing? Don't you?
There are 2 more outfits that should be in this post, but blogger doesn't want to let me put that many pictures in one post. Well. Maybe in the fututre I will tell Natalie she can only change her clothes 4 times a day, as it makes for better blogging.
These pictures are in sequential order...baby girl was comletely into all of her choices until she decided to sport the shorts in the 4th shot...She wanted them off as soon as she got them on. What seemed like a great outfit choice ("It has pockets!") proved to be completely heinous once on. I took her picture before assisting in the removal of said shorts, hence the priceless pout on her face. It's really too bad I couldn't put at least one more picture on here, because outfit number 5 was really the cream of today's crop. You will just have to imagine it while I describe it. She insisted on leaving her hoody on (See outfits #3 and 4) and then reapplying outfit #2 on top...(Black one piece, white flowers and buttons.) It was actually kind of cute that way, with the long sleeve stripes and hood sticking out. Hey, maybe she knows what she's doing after all...
Oh, and don't even ask me about shoes.

like mother...;-)
you're so good!
That is so funny! I see that in Ellie, but I don't experience this myself as boys just don't care. They may have a favorite shirt or shorts, but they likely won't change what they're currently wearing given a whim. :) I love the horror/pout from #4... I know how you feel, little one... I know how you feel.
I can't WAIT to have a little girl running around who changes her clothes all day!
These will be such fond memories in the years to come. At least she doesn't fully strip. Whitney would prefer not to wear clothes.
Actually, Debbie, she does that, too...
Hahahahaha, SOOOO NayNay. Love it.
Natalie is going to be a model when she grows up.
