"Something has to make you run"

"Run just as fast as I can to the middle of nowhere to the middle of my thoughts and fears and I swear you're just like a pill instead of making me better you keep making me ill..."
"'Cause I've been actinglikeIwanttofallonthefloorandsweepoxygenofftherefrigeratormaybethat'sthereasonI'vebeenactingsocold..."
"My heart is drenched in wine."
"Something has to make you run."
I would like to thank Mix 106.5 for playing the songs associated with these lyrics* this morning while I was running, because they kept me going.
If you can figure out what songs these are, and who sings them, you get a super prize.**
Oh, I'm feeling generous today, I'll give one away..."My heart is drenched in wine" is Nora Jones, and I like it because it reminds me that my heart is drenched in sweat. "Something has to make you run." Also by Nora Jones, same song. Oh Nora, I agree completely. That is why I wrote this post.

*These lyrics are not necessarily correct.
**The super prize is whatever you choose to reward yourself with. Be creative and go big, you deserve it!

So here goes...
Otis Redding - Hard to Handle
Pink- Just like a pill
Gwen Stefani - Sweet Escape
Nora Jones - Don't know why
I haven't decided what to reward myself with yet, but it will be good :)

Did you type it without spaces so that it's like they are singing really fast? I think the effect is the same... even when I read it (at normal speed anyway) I still can't tell what the words are. (I'm thinking that it may be a personal problem, oh well.)

Val, I'm a bit miffed that you stole my thunder. . . I was totally gonna claim the prize. Bonus points for knowing the original version of Hard to Handle. I'm impressed, though, knowing the radio station, it was the Black Crowes' cover
